I'd also put Clydsdale back in the stable .
Paulo or Nu Brown , back up hooker / utility
Capewell right centre
Hopefully we can put the Broncs and Cowboys back in the stable over the next couple of weeks as well.

Here's my take on the game tonight. I am so upset, I decided to write it entirely in French.
It was a good start and I managed to score two points at 6-0. At 8-0, we really should have reacted. Even allowing the penalty in advance, good teams react well to this and we simply shook for some reason. Canberra took a turn, we started giving stupid penalties and before you know it, we are down 24 to 8.
Crazy.
The second half was even more crazy. We get a brilliant try, get Pappali in the sin of sin and then play the 10 most stupid minutes of football I've ever seen on the shark side.
I can not understand the attitude of the players. We play for a TOP FOUR SPOT GUYS! What other motivation do we need?
Wade was horrible. Feki on the defensive was ****. Bird still wants crab. Heighno is past. Bukuya was strong at times, but his ball was crucial. Segyaro was ineffective. The shots of Fifita and Gal were stupid and useless.
Jimmy, we are ready to make you come back, all is forgiven.
If, in a way, we come out of Suncorp next Friday with a victory, it will be a miracle dreading God.

I don't know who they are trying to fool, but with that type of performance, they'll be lucky to win a game in August let alone September.
I hope Flanno told them they were ****, all of them.

Not a bad effort... :D la deuxième mi-temps était particulièrement pathétique... sans parler de la première.

Just watched the Press Conference. Flanno and Gal certainly looked and sounded like **** and you could see they were absolutely gutted by the performance and vowed to get back on track but something Flanno said worried me.

He said we were still top four and if we win the majority of our remaining games we'll finish top four and anything can happen from there. He didn't seem to acknowledge the danger that we can easily miss the top four and while it's highly unlikely, if we lose all four we could still miss the 8. It just seemed to be a complacent comment that all was sweet and we'll just keep trying to get back to the winner's circle.

I really thought the Cows without Thurston would crumble. They haven't quite as yet.
Without McCullogh, I thought defensively the Broncos would struggle. They haven't.
Roosters have had Cordner, Friend and Gordon out at different times and they could have slid down the ladder. They haven't.
No one thought the Eels were capable of what they've done in recent weeks and if they made the semis they'd be cannon fodder. I don't think they will be.

Besides our big losses of Ennis and Barba pre season, Jimmy and Bird are the only players we've recently had out due to injury. I think you can safely say out of all the top teams we are the ones that have handled the loss of key personnel poorly.
I haven't included Melbourne because they're just a class above everyone else.

I don't know what the answer is. And it doesn't look like Flanno knows either. He hasn't known all year. It's actually amazing that we are 4th and yet have played overall very substandard football. We are playing like a team in the bottom half of the 8 and to be honest, I think that's where we'll end up.

Anyone else feel it a bit un-nerving an experienced Jimmy was sitting alone and wasn't in the box with Flanno giving input ( ala JT in Cowboys box , Slater Storm box when injured ) , then again watching Flanno going off , I'd probably enjoy the game more outside too .

As long as jimmy is back this season, it is no concern of mine.

This team has been complacent all year... In the past 6-7 weeks, teams like Gold Coast, Manly, Canberra have put 30 points on us. That's unacceptable, especially at home. I'm filthy as a supporter, I'd be filthy as a player... And yet, no apparent reaction. They need to take a good look at the mirror because right now they're just a crap football team whose played one good game all year.
Too early to write us off of course, but the next month will define our season: contenders or pretenders.

Everyone seems to be worried about our performances based on points scored. Forget the fact up til last night we had the best defence in the comp. thats a very good stat especially when you seenwe have the worst record for penalties conceeded and probably one of the worst for errors. Our biggest problem IMO is the penalties and when we give them away. We march them down field with penalties and put our defence under pressure. Nearly all their points came off the back of penalties last night. Blocking, head highs, lifting, obstructions and the ever effective ruck penalty.

Canberra are a point scoring team. They love to put points on. Especially ones they dont have to work for. We gifted them field position and they made us pay. To beat canberra u need to defend them out til they are frustrated. Then pounce. Think back to round 2.

The game was lost at half time. Other than 3 penalties they didnt score again. Even with 12 on the field we panicked. We shoulda been just making the tackles and let them get to the kick. Instead we were doing silly ****.

Worst performance of the year by far imo. Or probably equal to the manly game
