I think the problem with Ricky is that he's probably a bit uptight. I reckon he'd be a pretty emotional guy so prone to flying off the handle and being beligerent. Some guys can only take that for so long.

Married men put up with it their whole life.

Agree though.

He's too intense. It works for a year or two but it wears players down after that.

Ricky is an expert when it comes to sticking solid and hanging tough (even though he eventually bails...) - no other coach can beat him at that

Haha yeah. I'm sure the Parra players he cut before bailing himself will be forever grateful.

I just think Ricky is a **** coach.

He had a bloke called Fittler in his team early on, Joey Johns in his Origin team.

Rapana and Leliua's form last season was out of this world. They were scoring tries from all over the park. That's not happening as frequently this season. To me that's why Canberra are struggling this year.

And they're unfit. To me that's a bigger issue.

This is 100% correct.

Fittler carried him to his premiership in the year the Bulldogs were streets ahead and then banned.

When Stuart was having his public row with Gould , the truth came out.

Gus came out in print and said Ricky cannot coach attack . It really stung Ricky.

The truth really hurt him........

There was a pretty good reason they were streets ahead.

I for one would happily take Paulo from Canberra.

He's big and moves well. Hits the line hard and plays big minutes for a big man like him.

With plenty of smaller, albeit mobile forwards at the Sharks (only Fifita is a "big human", though Tagataese has a great physique but is thin-hipped making him look bigger) a second big mobile Prop wouldn't hurt at all. Even Gallen isn't as big as you think.... he just plays HUGE!

Looks like on average he plays roughly 60 mins oer game for 150 metres. Pretty good.

What's he like in defence?

Being a big bopper I know AB will be all over him.

I don't see him fitting in well with out team. I don't think he could keep up with out defense for 60 minutes of game time and i doubt he would be happy playing the 30-40 minutes i would give him as a coach.

I reckon Gal is about 180cm and less than 100kg. Is he bigger than that?
