Canterbury would have beaten any other side tonight, their defense was immense, they were lucky to get a try off a repeat set which was a questionable call, and Cummins tried to help Canterbury as much as he could with some 50/50 calls which he gave to Canterbury which were very questionable and we still held them out. Our defense was immense and Canterbury I am sure would have scored more points against other sides. Gallen was easily man of the match, followed by Townsend, Lewis and Holmes. Beale showed pace that he hasn't had for quite some time, he must have been working with the sprint coaches because I thought he'd be run down. Holmes' run after Gallen got out of the ingoal area was huge. Brailey will be rookie of the year, and with further progression and instruction from Ennis has Origin written all over him, 52 tackles is huge. Our bench was good. A huge win, a huge crowd with fantastic HT entertainment, and a huge boost for Cronulla. Gallen will be missed when he eventually retires in a huge way.
