That sounds right for Renshaw. I noticed he's been picked in the Aussie A team, don't know where he'll be batting though.

Not a fan of Head either. We'd me a mess without Smith and Lasagna.

Im surprised Head isnt finished yet, he’s too inconsistent, but no one has really stepped up to claim the spot have they?

Remember what I said about 300 being an achievement for the aussie batters?

Might finish up with not that big of a first innings lead, maybe 100ish - 150 depending on tail wagging

Disappointed with Carey’s contribution. He had a point prove and he failed, needs a big second inning.

**** yeah Travis Head, so frustrating you only pull this off once in a blue moon.

Hopefully this knock is the turning point in Head’s career. He is a talented player, usually gets starts but doesn’t go on with it.

I’m with you @CrazyMatt about Harris though. There has to be a better option out there, even Khawaja as you said

Just out of interest, has anyone here been over to England & seen the Ashes at times over there? I am thinking of going there during an English series but I'm not sure how they treat Aussie supporters there & whether it is good relationships over there between us?

Generally friendly relationships over there during the 2 nations supporters over there?
It's fine mate. All good natured back and forth. Just be prepared for the endless cracks about sandpaper.
If you can, do the tour of Lords. Well worth a look. (y)

I guess I'll just wait & see, I've always wanted to see England & the UK so 1 sport isn't going to bother me.

On another note, good win by the Aussies but we will be without Warner & Hazlewood & they will bring back Broad & Anderson I'd presume, should be a lot tighter 2nd test.

Cummins unlikely to play due to COVID-19 close contact -

Bill Lawry (aka The 12th Man) said it best - It's all happening here, the tension, the drama, the buzz, the atmosphere
He should have formed a mutual respect with covid so he didn't get it, like Odell Beckham Jr from the NFL.

Unfortunately it turned out the respect wasn't actually mutual as OBJ has caught covid since saying that
