If there was nothing wrong with it then why did we get a penatly?

It hit his head, he led with the elbow. Graham didn't fall into it. It was careless and dangerous despite how good a hit it looked. If he wasn't suspended imagine the precident it would set. The NRL also want to encourage kids to take up the game. It can remain a tough game while keeping the hits below the head.

As for players continuing concussed, sure it might be tough but it's also stupid. It wasn't like our season was on the line, why risk a players health like that.

He didn't lead with the elbow. The first point of contact was obviously the shoulder.

Also, Graham didn't fall in to it, but walking to the defensive line and stopping is asking for a belting.

I am happy with that. It was a good shot and there was no intent to harm wade and he was defs sorry afterwards. He is just too tall and his elbow is level with everybody elses head.

How is that the ball carriers problem? If a defender is too tall he needs to adjust his technique against a smaller player. I can understand accidental head high tackles where the ball carrier falls into it or slips and cops the arm but this was a bit different I feel. I think he was lucky to get off. I would have thought one week suspension was appropriate.

This is a dangerous precident. You watch every "tackle" like this from now on be reffered back to this ruling.

It actually made me really angry seing him laugh on the field about it like he did nothing wrong to Wade or didn't care. Was only through the follow up stories I found out they were good mates.

It's a poloarising issue, everyone is divided on it. I don't want to see shoulder charges taken out of the game, they are great when they come off. But if a player stuffs up he's gotta take it on the chin (excuse the pun) and accept a punishment if it's bad enough attmept.

I understand that they're trying to allow there to be this intensity in league, and that's cool, that's why i watch league and not union. ****, i'm 6'4" (at least) and if i was fit enough i'd happily join a team and go around smashing ****s on the weekend.

but, there should be the onus on a defender not to hit a dude in the head. Accidents happen, so I'm happy for the charge against Prichard to have been downgraded as long as there still is some kind of charge to answer that's ok in this situation.

Yea if we got to a stage where those sort of incidents were not even put on report or penalised on the field then we would have some real cause for concern. If the ref believes it is a clean shoulder charge with no head contact then fine let it go.

Disagree. Check the replay. His elbow cocks up as makes contact. He needed to keep his elbow against his ribs and he didn't. Generally shoulders only hit heads when there is a big height differential or a player is falling.

If my memory serves me correct Wadeo is signed till the end of 2012. If that's the case I would be looking at an extension before the start of next season.

As would I.

He's been showing such promise. Imagine if we had some outside backs of quality. We'd be so damaging on the edges. Wade's running has been great, that pass last night showed he's reading the defense and able to execute his plans.

Look at the blokes who pop up on the edges: Toups, Gal, Graham, Tags...where are the pace men to put it away and seal the deal?

A bit off topic there sorry. But yeh. Lock Graham up.

I think we are yet to see the best of Graham.

As said before his strength and ability are growing every month, reading plays etc etc.

His confidence is growing on and off the field, seems to be relaxed.

Over the next two years he will become a very tuff player, looking forward to it.

I hope we can lock him in for many years to come.

I wouldn't be extending anyone till we put some wins on the board. Yes Graham played well. Williams also played well but I wouldn't be going out of my way to re-sign him. If Graham finishes the year in that form and starts next year like it. Then let's talk money.

My observation was from when he started here to the player he is now.

He has settled in very well,
