I have a few rare video tapes at home when the first UFC tornament started. The only rules back then were
No eye gouging and no biting.
They have a lot more rules now to make it safer.​

The very first match up was between a kick boxer and a sumo wrestler. The kick boxer kicked the sumo wrestlers teeth out and it was all over in 30 seconds.​

Padded his record fighting no hopers looking for the big pay day, then got found out by a guy who had 3 days notice to fight him and was paid extra money to not take Kimbo to the ground due to his complete lack of ground skills.

End result, Kimbo ko'ed in 15 seconds.

The sad thing about that Fight where Kimbo got Ko'd is he got brought to the ground with a basic push kick, If he moved his hole body back instead of just his torso he wouldn't of got clipped on the jaw and ko'd. I hope anyone who has seen this fight knows what im on about.

But with that said I respect Kimbo Slice for what he did, he was a Lil Known street fighter then a Internet sensation, now he is fighting MMA, Good on the bloke I say he has just as much right to fight as anyone else.

If he makes it into the UFC from that show, I will bow and give him some credit.

And yeah Macro UFC undisputed is freakin awesome. What platform you got it on? If your on ps3 we should duke it out online for the Sharks Forever Title!

Not sure mate. All i heard was that Dana said he was giviing Kimbo his chance to prove he is for real, and that he would happily give him a contract if he fought his way into the UFC by winning TUF 10 the heavyweights. will prolly kick off not long after 9 finishes

Kimbo got eliminated in his first fight in TUF 10. Felt sorry for him though, the guy who beat him didnt smash him or anything, just out fatted him. Basically took him down, laid his enormous gut on him then tapped on his head till the ref stopped it.

1 thing i will say though, is i have a lot more respect for Kimbo now than before. His work ethic in the gym, and the way he was helping the other fighters was very commendable. Dude needs to learn the ground game though, he is deadset lost on his back.

We still need to duke it out on Undisputed maco!

Yeah Dana wasn't impressed with how the other fighter was acting afterwards, he said so himself that is was a lucky win, he was just tapping him on the head. I reckon in that case the ref should stand them back up.

there was about 4 times in the fight i thought they should have been reset.

Mind you I thought Kimbo could have struggled a bit more or tried a few different things.

The second time he got taken down, the bloke was doing the exact same thing as the first time as in going for the crucifix. I would have given up my back, i mean hell your about to lose anyways, at least you might be able to struggle out of a different position.
