Tuku Hau Tapuha has the bigger upside. I see Royce Hunt as a decent backup to be called up only if needed.
or if you want the bloke playing more than 20 minutesTuku Hau Tapuha has the bigger upside. I see Royce Hunt as a decent backup to be called up only if needed.
Got his shot and shot himself in the footRoyce is good back up to have but that's all he is for us now I reckon.
If we get some luck health-wise with our forwards I can't see him getting a game.
I would have Hau Tapuha and Kaufusi over Hunt.AFB '28

Im interested to hear who everyone thinks will be in the side next year. My pick -
Starting - AFB, Haze (best prop at the club at the moment)
Bench - BHU, Toby, Hunt
Ressies - Hau Tapuha, Kaufusi
Are you considering McInnes and Williams as lock rotation I assume?AFB '28

Try every PTB would probably work for me.Hazelton has come a long way this season already, very impressive. Wish he could work on getting up a tiny bit quicker but it is a long way up so I get it. If he scores a try how quick he gets up is irrelevant anyway.
You need someone like a Kaufusi in a pack I reckon, not everyone has to be dominant. Loving what he's doing, especially in defence.Kaufusi is sold but Hunt can dominate when he's not doing dumb ****. And Hau Tapuha hasn't impressed me given his size and limited game time. Love to know what people have seen in ressies. Lots of talk about him.
He's a massive body and his first few runs in NRL for us were very strong so he sticks in people minds. Hasn't had quite the same impact but we have seen what he can do and with his size and age has massive potential to develop into a real asset.Kaufusi is sold but Hunt can dominate when he's not doing dumb ****. Yep, some early shade last weekend Hazelton was doing more work but Kaufusi stuck out the minutes. Few can do both. You need someone like a Kaufusi in a pack I reckon, not everyone has to be dominant. Loving what he's doing, especially in defence.
I agree. Whats your starting side and bench? I forgot about Talakai. Are you considering McInnes and Williams as lock rotation I assume?
I think Kaufusi and Talakai both have the inside running over Hunt at the moment. Him vs Tuks at this stage would depend more on the minutes required out of them, so may depend who they were coming in for.
Colquhoun will come back into contention via Jets later this season.

Looks goodI agree. Whats your starting side and bench? I forgot about Talakai.
I think everyone agrees that Haze, AFB, Toby, BHU will be in the side. Along with Williams and Talakai. With this in mind they kind of pick themselves.
AFB/Haze - starting (top 2 prop try scorers in the com)
Toby/BHU - Bench with Williams and Talakai.
Kaufusi, Hunt, Hau Tapua - ressies.
On second glance its pretty much a no brainer.
Preaching to the converted, I called him the Tolman replacement very early onPoly Tolman
If only @Sevshark would get on board.Preaching to the converted, I called him the Tolman replacement very early on
2 for the price of one.I would have Hau Tapuha and Kaufusi over Hunt.
Maybe they could Job Share2 for the price of one.
Not sure the NRL will allow it
