I thought he looked good in the trial games and he has been really strong in firsts but that it might have taken just a little longer to show it. he hasn't messed about in bringing his game - bloke is a freezer loaded full of concrete

seems a bit cheeky too. love his carries an no fuss approach he is tough to put down and to control his ball carrying arm (i.e. offloads)

Big unit and hard to contain, don't mind him coming on last 20 when defenses tired...knee was well taped tonight which I don't recall seeing before, hope all good there

Canterbury and Canberra helped to develop him but didn't give him much of a chance. Some smart person in the Sharks organization identified that he has potential and gave him an opportunity. Absolutely delighted to see Royce doing well - he adds to the big man depth off the bench. Sometimes castoffs from other teams with negligible experience just need an opportunity to show what they can do.

It was Morris who noticed him. And from what I’ve read he tried getting him to the sharks last year.

He's been killing it in NSW cup. Lurk of the Raiders forum they were thinking he deserved more of a shot. His debut a few years ago was a shocker so might have been marked never to play again.

nah, canberra wouldnt release him

They could probably do with him now that's for sure.

Speaking of Canberra really not surprised to see them failing, typical Ricky coach team. They just can't have good back to back seasons.

They looked good in the earlier rounds. Not sure what's up with them.

injuries and teams have figured them out

they lack a lot of unpredictability in attack and they are very structured

True. What they're really missing is a strong, unpredictable edge pairing. Like Bird and Holmes, or Leilua and... oh.
