He’s a bit down the list for depth players. He has been getting a run for Sydney University in the Sydney Shield comp.

The players who aren’t in the 17 each week for 20’s typically end up either playing for University or in the local comp.

Full Sharks feeder system is:

Sharks - Jets - Glebe. Then ...
University - Local A Grade - Local Reserve grade - Local 20’s

Yeah but he did catch some pretty decent ones. He needs to rid the mistakes but the good takes showed promise. He was certainly being tested.

As per my earlier comments, he hasn’t played enough wing to be expected to do it well in first grade. I’m happy he made his debut but would have preferred it to be at centre.
