Thanks mate - and thanks also to everyone else who answered.
So just to confirm, I can either go with either...
1) Pick some players from the Vegas teams this week, and then fill my team with placeholders who I can trade out next week (for free), or
2) Don't pick any Vegas players, and figure out my entire team next week from the remaining 13 teams.
I see no reason to avoid Vegas players unless there is a similar value player you are hoping will get named in that same spot next week. I don't know if there are too many examples of this.
At the moment I'll be starting with:
- Willison - Looks like one of the better FRF cheapies
- Ben Trbojevic - If named to start
- Tom Trbojevic - No explanation necessary
- Keppie - Not settled on this one but I think he's a little undervalued and trialed well.
If I wanted any of the likes of Walsh, Haas, Trell, DCE, Manu, or anyone else, this split round/the Vegas trip wouldn't stop me from picking them up. I'd just pick the side you want and almost ignore the Vegas thing unless it's a genuine toss-up (in which case I'd pick the guy named for Vegas over the guy who might get named the following week).
