I don’t disagree, I do think we need to understand Nicho takes control for good reason. Ultimately, your comments specifically weren’t the ones I was referring too.
100%

And hopefully the load can be shared, just a little.
We will need Atkinson to take some workload on if we are going to go deep in the finals.
(pending what happens with tricky of course)

Hectic player but not clinical enough to be an elite halfback yet

Stuck to his side of the field, kicking game wasn’t the best, didn’t link up with his 6 often and could’ve been better with his last tackle options

(For the slow ones in here,I rate Hynes & hold him to higher standards than the others)

Defense was great again today , not his best game on attack but tough conditions and I think the game plan was to keep it simple because of the conditions .
We would be wishing he was ours if he was playing for the drags .

I thought Atkinson got more share of the ball today, was given more chances to run, pass and kick and sometimes he was just the man in the spot or he called for it. Hynes seemed happy enough to step back in these moments and let Daniel have a go and Hynes took the reins at other times (same as he does with Tricky next to him).

Daniel has less than a handful of FG games to his name so considering his experience and it's a new combo I think they got the balance at a reasonable level.

Hynes had a few mistakes, is sometimes frustrating decision wise which sometimes makes you wonder where his head is at but he plays at a high intensity and is always looking for an edge or big play. But like most weeks he puts out alot of good with some occasional bad.

He outplayed Hunt by some margin who other than a couple passes didn't offer all that much

It's unrealistic to expect Hynes to play some sort of perfect half back / game manager performance every week, if he had just arrived at the club I think we would be pretty bloody happy with him. He's still the best halfback the Sharks have had since Kimmorley over 15 years ago.

What halves are better than him in the NRL? - Cleary and Hughes probably the only ones but even then I dunno if I would do a swap cause Nicho suits what this team is trying to do.

Agree Gards. Nicho is merely copping criticism from those with agendas.

Atkinson is a rookie and Nicho can’t do everything then we need someone else to help him out. I feel like Kennedy and Brailey should take more responsibility - if nothing else, just to confuse the opposition. Otherwise, we become very predictable and it is also not fair on Nicho.

How getting tackled a metre out from the opponents line on the last tackle forcing them to work it out, is considered a poor option on this forum is wild to me.
We get it. You think he had an amazing game.

Others think he could’ve had better moments.

That halves performance will get chewed up by the better teams is my only thing

Its all good in the hood, play on

He's definitely got a few stinkers in his kicking game, but I think it was good for 80-90%.

Disagree on the his side of the field comment. Nicho is always playing both sides.

Agree with the elite half comment. Won't be elite until he can get it done like that against the better sides. Time to show he can.

DCE.
Maybe Nikorima at this moment.
Clifford (if he replaced Chad he must be the goat).

But I do think Nicho's pretty top shelf.

Fair - but I think he only linked up with Atkinson just once on that side of the field in the second half..
