I’m not going all of the way down wizard’s rabbit hole, but I can see the logic of not judging Flano for 2010 or including that year in the stats. Games coached in a replacement role after mid-season switch should have an asterisk imho.

If Peter Gentle goes on to become a good coach are people going to look back on his 5 games in 2020 and say “couldn’t turn the Broncos around. Must be ****”? Ditto for Dean Young at the Dragons, Hannay last year and this year etc.

I don't think you can include first games of the season, either. Teams are still settling in. Also Origin affected teams and results around those periods.
