I think we do, or at the very least a prior. Heigno is far less effective at the start of the match. Plays a lot better coming of the bench around the 20 minute mark

Can't be Fifita given he hasn't played for 6 weeks, won't have the match fitness. Has to be Prior imo.

nah he'd be still able to push out a quality 20 minutes imo. The big boy has a huge motor

First 20 is when most of the penalties are blown though, get them out of the way early I guess.

And maybe the refs will have let time be the healer and award a few to him when he starts milking.

Getting more confident as the game gets closer. 22-18 we'll get up!

We need a strong start and what better way then with a fired up fifi.

That's True .
However it would be really wild if we could hold our own for the first 20 minutes then unleash both A Fifita and Taga up until half time and for 10 minutes after . Have a spell and return for the last 15 minutes .
Won't happen , but they definitely would trouble a tied defense and create line busts for speedy backs to capitalise even if they didn't score themselves .

I would be inclined to have A fifita start the game from the bench. Heighno and Taga can start and then you take one off for Fifita. We should dominate their forwards even without him starting, so why not make the most of him when defence starts getting fatigued.

I like the idea of taga and fifita off the bench at about 20 min.

Fifita can play the first 20 minutes, have a rest for 10 and come back at the 30th or some crap. The idea that we should bench our best prop for "impact" is retarded. We should give him the most opportunity for minutes, which means starting him and just interchanging him when he starts getting fatigued.

Sutty , that's eggsactly what it's all about .
Differing opinions without , then a cheap shot and abuse of the other Shark Forum poster .
A persons opinion might seem and be regarded as retarded , but that doesn't mean the person with that opinion is retarded .
Who knows , Flanno might just hold those 2 players back and it works a gem .
I take NO offense at all to your statement .
It pretty much comes back to differing opinions .
I just threw it in the ring , as an interesting option .
Doesn't mean I live or die if it did or didn't manifest . Or even worse it did and failed .
The only way the opinion could be justified is if it was tried and was a success .
Poor Snowman just doesn't get it , people have opinions .
BIG PICTURE , it should not mater how daft they may seem , it's just an opinion .
AND you'd have to be a pretty SHALLOW to then attack another Sharks supporter , rather than skillfully trash the opinion with humour or sarcasm .
I'm VERY guilty of retaliating and not responding to the comment ONLY . But that only happens after personal abuse started the ball rolling .
It seems many a really passionate Sharks supporter has copped immense crap for having an opinion and left the site .
ALL opinions are valued and I take my hat off to Jimbob . He is quality and a role model of copping it in his stride WITHOUT dishing it back to the abuser .
It doesn't matter if you've been to every home game and are megga passionate . We are all passionate and equal .
But I'm not going to quit the forum because of the lower percentile that ONLY feel good if they are trashing others without provocation .
The really sad part is that people like Snowman have fantastic Rugby League insight and 85% of the time , they are on the money .
Time do make peace and communicate at a higher level .
Jeeze , I'd love to sink a few beers with ALL you guys if/when the Sharks concur Everest and win the comp .
May the force be with us ALL .Over and out .

no offence egg but maybe hit the enter key every now and then to put a space between your lines

it's hard for old blokes like me and B&B to read unless it's spaced out a little

No offense to anyone who posted after but I stopped reading at this post.

Sutty you're 100% right. In finals especially the first 20 means a hell of a lot and we need our best out there.

Don't think about limiting Souths in that first 20 and maybe having to come back. Put it to them and dominate the first 20 and make them worry about hitting back. Even if we don't score with our starters but hold them out I'd rate a Heigno off the bench over a Clarke, Grevsmul, Grant or Carter for them.
