Yep bitterly disappointing,as Brandy said 1 step forward, 3 steps back.Just feeds that lingering doubt that performance.
Maybe it was the loss we needed, as gal said we now have to win every game so expect the boys to fire up on Sunday and make up for that disgrace that was Sunday. the only teams we have lost to in the past 14 weeks have been manly and storm, we have beaten everybody else (including roosters and cowboys twice) now that is a stat.

im not confident based on i think Souths will handle the pressure of elimination better than us.
I do however think it will be a contest. We need our best handling and discipline and the game is ours IMO.

I think it is a contest we will win! Last week was a bad game but we are largely uninjured and at full strength, and the team has played very well at times during the year. Souths have key personnel missing and are a shadow of the team they were last year.
I like our chances and am surprised at the degree of pessimism on here. We should win here and be looking forward to week two of the finals.

yep we were pretty poor last week, but i guess the low flickering light was that we crossed the line for 2 tries (Beale and Graham) and then had 5 tries disallowed. (Gordon/Gallen, Holmes x 2, Ennis and Feki). We were still poor, but we did get over the line a few times. However, none of them were genuinely created by some great vision in attack or whatever. And thats where our biggest downfall lies, predictable. The defence has all the time in the world because it knows we arent going to go too wild on the plays close to the line.
im not be pessimistic, im being realistic.
Im confident we can win if we play the right game. I will be very happy to see us knock out the defending premiers thats for sure

Our long kicking game or lack of one will hurt us big time in finals. Other teams get a 20 metre head start when they play us! I realise we have done well in the past three months but finals footy does seem to be a different beast and top field position is key.

I know it's obvious but kicking is key we don't won't theses Robbo lob kicks going down GI s throat, he will tear us a new one. I'm expecting him to have a good one "just our luck" but if we can limit this bloke we should be right.
