I tuned in very late in the end of the game. Obviously Peachey is leaving but how did he go?
solid didnt carve up like the week before but had some good touchesI tuned in very late in the end of the game. Obviously Peachey is leaving but how did he go?
Thanks man. Yeah I really like what I've seen of him. Bench Hooker after a an off season with firsts is a no brainer.played most of the game with politini going off after he scored his try. plenty of spark out of dummy half. i really hope he takes that bench hooker spot next season
Good summary snowy
Also thought the storms centre and winger pairing were good but were out classed by mills and our go to guy
Also chads goal kicking wasnt the best, nailed a few good ones but missed a couple of easy ones on his good side he should of nailed
Highlight of the day was dj giving it to that bears supporter at the end, she was a rat
Thanks for the report Snowman.
It's reassuring to see them post such a big score when it sounds like a few of them were playing below what they are capable of.
i really get the feeling that an injury free off season would see gardz in our team next year
yeh thats true SB.
the best thing was we got to go on the ground after the game and have photos with the players. i got some pics of the guys in front of the sharkies tifo which was awesome.
but you could hear the interviews, and one radio station asked gards why he didnt leave with the bulldogs sniffing around, and he said he would rather re-sign and force his way into first grade, than take the same money and play reserve grade at another club.

Michael Gordon usually seems to miss quite a bit of football through injury and he'll soon be on the wrong side of 30.at the expense of who?
on the game, i was nervous as when Luke Keary got dropped, but if souths are banking their future on him, wow, they wont make the grand final. he was ordinary.
ben lowe tried taking out chad all game and taufua soon sorted him out, he was epic yesterday as well, he tried to kill someone in every tackle.
gards chipped in the backline as a ball player, and scored a nice try. positional play was good for kicks, but was ordinary on their try.
stapo and mills killed it defensively, especially when they were marked up on curtis johnson. he is the roid rager that got done for roids. something bears fans couldnt comprehend yesterday.
chad sucked. like really badly. kis kicking game was bad, his running game was average. he scored a nice try but that was after the storm centre completely bitched the norths defense.
penani was best half on ground easilly. his long kicking game found plenty of meters and his short kicking game was very good as well.
peaches was quiet, but everytime he touched the ball he had 4 people jump him. his offloads saw us get plenty of meters.
liccha was very good out of dummy half. he engages the markers and makes those extra meters the props get credited with. terrific ruck defender as well.
matt wright played in the backrow and looked good. strong runs and chipped in with a couple of kicks.
politoni hurt himself scoring our second but he started strong.
sopoaga didnt have the impact in his runs as he normally did, but the heat looked like it really got to him.
i would love to sign junior morrs from the storm.
david fifita played his best game so far. he is a unit, and could be a handy bench prop. made an andrew like line break running over the top of josh starling, which is a big effort.
has a very quick PTB as well. didnt look lazy, but looked unfit at times if that makes sense. he still made the tackles but he was slow back to the defensive line.
finally, a credit to Tony Herman and the coaching staff, even if it is reserve grade, this is what they play for.
it really was summed up by Penani at the end of the game, tears in his eyes when he said " I cant believe it, this is my first ever grand final"
