After a horror end to the season hopefully the R's can recruit right and make a push for the play offs.

Wolves locked in.

Second instant spot between Cardiff and Fulham. Only one point separates them with two games left.
Its been a while since Wolves have been back in the PL, good on them. I've never seen Cardiff in there as far as I can remember so it will be different step up for them if they get in. I'll make sure I look at the Play off dates & have a look at the play offs.

In your head, rent free
they are terrible, they havent been able to buy a player for 3 years and got whacked with a 60 million pound fine fore a rubbish offence

barcelona intentionally tap up neymar, get a slap on the wrist and a transfer embargo for a january

you cant fine the small clubs like the big clubs but let the big clubs slide

it would be like fining the local grocer the same as coles - its bull**** and will almost certainly be the ejnd of qpr

What a fall from grace for Bolton, I can't remember a game actually being called off at that level over something like this:

https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/bol...SnE57FoBtvh7L8f_cR8TyczPczW5rWJ6WxSoTs0U0toLo

Bolton Wanderers' home game against Brentford has been called off after their players refused to play in protest at unpaid wages.

The troubled club "regrettably" confirmed less than 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off time that the Championship fixture would not be taking place on Saturday.

The EFL described the developments as "disappointing" in a statement on its website, adding that Bolton are now guilty of misconduct and will be referred to an Independent Disciplinary Commission.

Their players had released a statement earlier on Friday that they would not be fulfilling the remaining two matches in the season due to monies owed - a decision that won the backing of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).

Both the squad and coaching staff members have still not been paid for March and first-team players reportedly refused to train for 48 hours this month in protest after club workers also went unpaid.

"This situation is creating mounting mental, emotional and financial burdens for people through no fault of their own," the statement from the players read.

"The mental pressure has affected some people to the extent that they feel they are unable to perform their jobs sufficiently.

"These are unprecedented circumstances and are affecting every aspect of our lives, placing great strain on ourselves and our families."

Former Watford owner Laurence Bassini last week agreed a last-minute takeover of the club to prevent them going into administration. The deal hoped to lead to the settlement of a High Court case related to an unpaid tax bill.

Bolton's relegation to League One was confirmed last week by their 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa.

unlucky this morning chad

Sorry mate. Didn't see this until now.

Mate we've been a basket case ever since we sacked our manager. We had one striker red carded in one of the last regular rounds, then Gayle (another striker) with two yellows and a send off in the first leg against Villa, so he was banned for the second leg and then Brunt also got two yellows and sent off leaving us one short for the last 20 mins and extra time in the 2nd leg. Allowing all that, we still got to penalties but all of our penalty takers were defenders!

Even though we finished fourth, it hasn't been a good season and with the squad we had, we really should have won the thing. Instead there is another season awaiting in the Championship, no manager at the helm and probably about to have a mass exodus of players. Can't see us going up again next season, I think it'll be a while before we go back up.

Interesting thing here though is that is 5th placed Villa and 6th placed Derby who have got through to the play off final. Us and Leeds bundled out.

leeds bottled it big time this morning

your squad you should have **** the championship in

i dont think you will have a mass exodus - premierleague clubs wont be falling over to sign your players and unless their wages are met they will stay

but as my boss said, once you are in the championship, you are stuck their

Posting in the appropriate thread now. :)

Overnight West Brom 4 Cardiff 2

Despite last week’s first loss of the season to Leeds we bounced back today with four brilliant goals.

Charlie Austin finally got on the score sheet with a well taken goal and our stars Periera and Diangana scored brilliantly. After a late Cardiff fight back Sawyers put the game away with a fourth in stoppage time.

Slaven Bilic has got us playing some brilliant attacking football and when we get Egyptian CB Hegazi back our defence will be much stronger.

West Brom are now top of the league going into the International break. Next two games are against Middlesbrough who are 20th after a 2-1 loss to Birmingham and then 23rd Place Barnsley who were hammered 5-1 by Preston.

Six points from those games should consolidate our lead.

Big surprises overnight that helped us was 10 man Leeds losing to Millwall and bottom of the League Stoke beating top placed Swansea.

After a solid win over Blackburn this morning, QPR’s back into the top 10.

Top half of the competition is as tight as can be. Only 3 points separates 1st place from 9th.
