Yeah he did make some great points.Don't agree with everything Gus says but the NRL would be in a better spot if he was running the MRC

Yeah 100%. Like you I don't always agree with him but I agree more often than not.Gus understands and and clearly loves the game more than just about anyone in rugby league. I also don't agree with everything he says, but if he was running the game I could at least respect his decisions because they would be made from a desire to ensure the future of the sport. As opposed to the reactive media slaves we have in charge currently.
He's softened his views on the Sharks of late, used to be always against us in everything. Maybe working with Gal (which really should have made him more against us), and with his son working in development at the club, may have changed him a bit.Yeah 100%. Talks more sense than anyone else in the game, just about the only person I take any notice of.
He says basically what I said. If the ref and the bunker said play on for such a serious incident then they should be dealt with.If anyone's interested in Gus' views of Dale's suspension on Six Tackles with Gus. It starts around the 16th minute.
AFAIK, he lives in the area so I think he has a soft spot for us.He's softened his views on the Sharks of late, used to be always against us in everything. Good sprayIf anyone's interested in Gus' views of Dale's suspension on Six Tackles with Gus. It starts around the 16th minute.
Sure was. I'd pick Gus to head the next Super League. The time is about rightGood spray
Buzz can F offBuzz trashes him.like a mardi gra bitch at every opportunity.
No wonder he used to have a set against the Sharks
That was deliberate. How's everyone's memory? I wonder if defence could have brought up Richard Villasanti's headbutt on Freddy in 2002 GF. Can't remember if he ever got charged. Probably different rules then.
Exactly but probably got let off because it happened in a GF.That was deliberate.
Yeah I can't remember tbh.Exactly but probably got let off because it happened in a GF.
MRC making new shite rules up as they go to fit the media hype or to allow for their own agenda. If it didn't get charged you can't bring it up which is hilarious in this instance. You could show hundreds even thousands of headclashes that haven't been charged to show there is a precedent of them not being charged but because they've never been charged before there are no usable examples of them being charged and let off.
Now there is one precedent, a charge which was upheld (because of lack of precedent to overrule...)
