I don't know, it's nice to have a bit of impact from the bench so I think it does matter who sits out, to a degree.
Uele is providing more impact than anyone atm and is a must if his form continues.
You left out Boogs, was that intentional?
I think the lower interchange basically eradicates the impact argument. I mean yeah you're gunna get impact during an interchange but it's not like you can stack your bench with impact forwards any more.
It's more like, in our structure the edge forwards are 80m. So you're talking about middle forward rotation. You've got 6 middle forwards sharing 240 minutes, ie averaging 40 minutes each. You vary how much each gets based on how effective they are. Let's say Uele can maintain for 30 minutes a performance that Fifita can achieve for 50 minutes, then you have those two guys sharing 80 minutes.
If you introduce another forward into the mix (4 forward bench) you're just taking minutes off someone else. You'd then be stretching J Brailey out to 80 minutes so that someone like Fifita does 40 and Gal and someone else with a motor. What's the point of that?
B Brailey has impact, and of a different sort as well. He'll be better against tired legs. That's how I'm leaning right now.
Uele is in my 17 either way.
I left out Boogs unintentionally!
IMO we need to choose between Capewell and B Brailey, and I would choose B Brailey unless an outside back has a dodgy leg or something. Then we have to choose between Bukuya and Williams, and I'd struggle with this one because Williams is probably better in a lot of ways but Bukuya has the experience and I'd trust him to make a game winning tackle or some other super important play over Williams. Uele is an auto-pick for me.
