other centres that were to be the next guns Leo Bott and Frazer Anderson from Broncos. And of couse Nathan Merritt how did we let him go. That was Stuart Raper days.

I'd forgotten about Merritt, wish I'd mentioned him if the best defender thread. Solid.

Fraser Anderson was alright for us in the second row. think he's still playing in japanese rugby these days.

Leon Bott. wow, i was pumped when he signed.

Anderson chased the$$$ in Japanese rugby. I don't think we voluntarily let him go as he played week for us IIRC

He will be an amazing ball runner, run awesome lines. Get the ball early on those midfield bits of broken play also. I honestly think the pressure of a huge contract and a demanding position like a 6 will be his undoing. You dont here the press starting to blame 11s or centres for a loss. Playmakers get the scrutiny. Once he gets put under that microscope i think the things he is missing from his bag of tricks will be very evident.

Brilliant player, but not a modern day play maker. Most teams are using a 2 half back system rather than a 7 and a 6 almost

F. Anderson was a garbage outside back but actually played some OK footy in the back row.

I think that was salary cap related. Flano didn't like Collis at all, but injuries late in the season meant he had to bring him back rather than being able to bring in someone from outside the top 25.

anderson was my fav at the time. Thought he could be our own sbw... was devo when he left
