Shame he didn't run it more, big ask over his first full game though.
Why? In my opinion, Blayke has the bigger upside. He's quicker, his passes are very accurate and what I love about the kid is his complete calmness - Mr Cool personified. I think his one obvious negative compared to Jayden is that he's very light and very big opponents may exploit that. Blayke needs eat up big and to put on about 8 - 10 Kg.I prefer Blayke to Jayden, but yeah I know that aint gonna happen
Did enough that we shouldn’t waste a xtra bench spot with a Hooker... capes on wing bench woods boogs bhu Williams. Get it done jmo I’m onboard

Blayke > Jayden by the length of my post count
Can someone with a better memory than mine remind if Jayden played any 80 minute games in his first season?
I recall he might have played a few but can't remember if it was his first season of later on.

There are two big differences between the brothers:
- Blayke had a full season in NSW Cup and Jayden played back when clubs kept their top end talent in 20’s. The state cups
have always been a better way to develop players, but in particular forwards and halves (outside backs seem to be a common exception).
- Blayke came in to first grade when he was ready rather than because his club was desperate
I would also have like to have seen Blayke run a couple more times against Canberra, but there seems to be a bit of a misconception on here about the type of player he is. He’s not a scooter; he can scoot from time to time when the chance presents itself but the reason he is considered such an attacking player is because he is smart and can engage the markers before giving the runners the ball. Think Mick Ennis more than Mick Sullivan.
Do that many people think he's a scooter ? He's just got a far better running game than his brother, but yeah he's more of a play making hooker. That shift he did which caused the overlap for Dugan's second try was nice.
Blayke was playing NSW cup at a younger age too, but that's because I believe the club feels he is the better brother and was better for his development.

I'm glad they chose Blayke over Jayden, was concerned we'd lose Blayke.
His defence was absolutely terrific
so was his service, just so crisp and on point
his brother could learn a thing or 2 off him
