Yea Tomololololo and fifi is a dream front row in terms of creating second phase and big metres, I will love to watch this

If we had a established international scene with highly competitive teams yes this situation would be a joke but our international game is not there and the smaller nations need all the help they can get to build the game on the whole while improving the spectacle for fans

Aus/NZ will still have these teams measure anyway

I honestly don't care much for the WC but I will be a bit more interested now.

Yeah that's not a bad squad at all. Hope they knock off one of the big three teams.

why worry about origin?

the international game is lacking and 2 of the games best forwards have defected to a smaller nation. this is ****ing brilliant

Absolutely. I’m really struggling to see a negative out of this.

Ballsy by Fifs and hard not to respect him for what he did.

Exactly - players choosing Origin over the nation they should or could play for has given me the ****s for years.

More of this please.

Around 50k I believe.

$50k winners purse per player I thought.
Then there are the match payments. I doubt Tonga would be paying anywhere near what the Kangaroos are for match payments.
Could be a fair bit of coin that he is forfeiting.

I could be wrong.

We have a double header in Perth on Nov 12 - Wales v Ireland & England v France. I'm hoping for some great footy and close games.

Ended up purchasing a corporate box for my office + clients for the Aus V France game at Bruce Stadium.

Hopefully the endless booze makes the game a tad more exciting.
