Just on this whole Will thing... did anyone bagging him actuallly watch him throughout the game? I was in and out with other things but even I noticed that he looked hobbled. Maybe direct your criticism to his durability if you have to, but I don't believe he was 100% for large chunks of that game
He copped a couple of whacks, the one from Suuaali in particular knocked him about. I have no doubt he wasn't 100%.

He didn't enjoy the shot from Suaalli on the ground, but I wish he'd held onto the footy. I think he though he was getting a penalty.
You can get penalised for going in too hard on a surrendering player (or a defenceless player on the ground, or something they blow occassionally which seems to just be a penalty for tackling too hard) but I don't think you can expect that when you are on your goal line and the defence want to force you ingoal.

Was a great shot from Suaalli, could have easily got him high.

My judgment of him had nothing to do with this weeks performance, was definitely injured.
In 77 games I can count on 1 hand the amount of tries he has even come close to stopping with his defence and dozens of ones where he should have at least made it a contest but wasn’t even close to it.

I agree for a large part of his career but it's improved. In saying that, it definitely needs to improve more.

He has improved, he does still have work to do.

Pretty happy for the rest of the team to help him out and stop having it end up falling on our last line of defence though too

Pretty poor game today, that effort on their first try was insipid.

I would like to think he went for the intercept because he thought that was his best chance of stopping the try but I can't help but feel he might have wanted to just take the soft option to avoid tackling a much bigger ball carrier

Fermor is a forward , not a ball player and slower than Kennedy. If Will goes for the ball carrier there and pressures him to force a pass it might just not have come off for the Titans

Kennedy was good in attack for the most part, still think he was one of our best today

Fermor maybe slower than Kennedy but not by heaps, he’s fairly quick

Seems to like playing us too. Think he chopped us up last season

Yeh but it was a two on one. Jessie came in on Nichos man which led to the overlap.

Do agree though - he seems to be playing without a spring in his step. Looks either sore or tired.

He's always been this way...he plods through the game and does what he needs to...never will be explosive
