I actually think Ramien's was worse
Fair enough. I just think the action from Will was lazy and extremely reckless. There was absolutely no need for him to do what he did and the result could only be dangerous. I was actually really disappointed in him, it was a sub-standard reaction. Ramien was a quarter step and slight slip away from pulling off a really good body tackle in the style of a thousand successful tackles before him. Worlds apart in my eyes

Don't disagree bit Will's looked worse than it was. Ramien's had the potential to break a jaw, far more force behind it.

Ramien's was worse than Will's? Okay...
Personally think Will is incredibly lucky

Yeah I'm with you - the two dramatic coathangers, Wills and Tupous, both recipients fine and neither even went for an HIA.
Ramien demolished a blokes whole head and was (IMO) much greater risk of injury. I know which one I'd rather cop.

Ramien's actually charged the same though right? Just extra week for prior

I agree, Will wasn't going to hurt anyone in that hit. But it's a send off every day of the week, zero chance of a tackle and next time could cause serious injury. Just a really poor decision and I'd expect more.
Ramien, I get the punishment, but it wasn't bad technique just bad luck, and I don't think you could ever tell players not to come in like that

No mate, must disagree with this. Ramien has done this before so he is not learning and it is not about luck. His technique is wrong and he needs to fix it.

Great technique* if it never hits them in the head. Unfortunately it does sometimes and we lose him for chunks of games at a time.
If he can't correct it enough to significantly reduce risk he may need to change it completely.

*if you can call hitting someone full force front on 'technique'

Yes, I think this is part of his technique. So what you say in the initial part is pretty much what I said.

Except you said it was wrong and I said it was great. We both agreed it needed some fixing though.

Perhaps he should go old style and shoulder to ribs.

Did you see his trial game at FB? He struggled

He's too erratic to be played in the spine
I cant remember it sorry.
And in fairness when i suggested him playing fb i forgot Ramien was gonna get suspended.
Wouldnt have minded seeing Dykes or Iro get a run to cover Kennedy/Ramien thou

ha ha nothing to apologise for mate , all good

Tracey's going well in the backline this season under Fitz and after the pre-season so he might be slightly improved in his backup positions too and his future is settled now so not playing for a contract again just yet. might have had a bit of the Trindalls trying to impress bit too much in the past but I didn't really see it that way

More that he just wasn't suited or was well out of practice playing in the spine I think its both. Ball playing and passing are some of his weaker aspects not to mention and kicking required

just on history he hasn't looked comfortable around the 1, 6 or 9 so I usually prefer to look at other solutions. Fitz putting Nicho @ 1 I think is the right call Nicho is very good there and Trindall is better than Tracey in the 7
