I think there's a fine line there. If he's trailing through the middle then it makes being in the set backline plays more difficult. Hard to do both or know the best time to switch.
Tedesco has got it down pat but might just take experience. Or could be as simple as tackles 0 -3 you trail, then you're in the backline.
Easily our best player this year. And to think 12 months ago the majority wanted him gone or didn't see a long term fullback there. Myself included.
I think it is more a matter of field position than tackle count. We don't regularly shift from our own end, esspecially early in the game. During this stage/when we are getting out of trouble I'd want him sniffing around our forwards, especially on the back of a Brailey scoot.
