Most even fullback when it comes to touches on each side of the field.
Interestingly, second most even is Teddy (Fitz learnt under Robbo) and meanwhile top 3 most one sided are Wahs, Panthers, Dogs - all Cleary or former assistants of.

I’d say Cleary kind of plays the centre and Blaize plays left and Edwards right. Conversely if says Hynes kind of plays right and centre, Trindall left and Will, obviously, pops up either side.
(Not to suggest there is never any fluidity to that)

With Cleary et al all running right dominant fullbacks, the highest left one is Weekes. Sticky has Sanders in the middle and Strange on the right.

Thanks. Extremely interesting. And I found the quote below particularly interesting. Shows coaching philosophy & using players strengths leads to remarkable difference.

The least side dominant players are a group of veterans. New South Wales Origin fullback James Tedesco continues to show up everywhere, with less than 4% between his left and right touches this season. Considering Tedesco has had over 160 of them inside 40 metres, that’s an incredibly even split. Cronulla custodian Will Kennedy is the most even in the NRL this season side preference, with at just 1.2% between left and right side share of touches.

And I'm happy with the way Will is asked to play.
To be honest, I'm not super impressed with the players' left/right hyper specialization.

Haha to be fair, I feel like this conversation has really only been the last few years. And clearly the coaching staff were pretty keen on bringing Dykes through too it just never worked out.

Credit to Will how he's continued to improve.
Haha these are my favourite two words to read on the forum. They usually mean "I think" but can also mean "I can read minds and I know".

From what they said they were keen on bringing Dykes through but we don't know it would have been at the expense of Kennedy. Dykes was splitting time between fullback and halves in cup and training in the centres with the NRL team occasionally. Anything beyond that is speculation. I think Dykes was in line for the Atko role... which makes sense given they signed Atko a week after Kade did his ACL. It's just what I think though.
