His manager is shopping him to super league clubs as there is no real interest from any nrl clubs.

Yes he's been a consistent player and there's value there for what we're paying him. But the fact no other nrl club is showing any interest says all you need to know.

He's a decent player but will never been anything more than that. We need an upgrade in this position bad if we're ever a chance of winning a comp.

We really need to keep him for another year. If he gets a longer deal in the UK then so be it.

Maybe I'm just stupid. Why wouldn't Bears want him for a couple of years?

Re your last point. I strongly believe that Kennedy hasn't been the reason why we haven't had a chance to win the comp the last few years. Our whole teams' complacency and stupid mistakes have cost us - and continue to cost us.

And it's not like we played Kennedy at 350k instead of having a million dollar fullback, but just sat on the difference.
That 650k was spent to strengthen us in other areas, that didn't get the job done.

I definitely agree it is one of the most obvious areas to upgrade to make ourselves more dangerous. But at the same time, we have to get weaker elsewhere to do it with anyone who is at all proven. And we've tried for unproven ones and they keep not working out.

I think bears should sign him, I'm not convinced at this moment, Nick Meaney is a better NRL fullback.

Mason Barber
Joey Manu
AJ Brimson
Barber - dont know much about him. Is he tried and tested or more like Ison?

Manu - a big risk for someone that's been out of the game for a few years (for his price tag).

AJ Brimson - maybe. Is he available next year, and how much would he cost?

All comes down to a dollar figure for sure. I'd have any of the above at a reasonable price.

Barber is completely untried, but looks to be an incredible athlete and is only 20. Big enough to play in the outside backs if Ison was clearly the better fullback.

Manu I was big on when I thought he'd be the last piece. If the side can't get their act together though then he'd be a waste.

Brimson is stuck playing a position that he's overpaid for and not that good at. It would make sense for the Titans to release him for the cap space and I think he'd flourish back in his prefered position. Two years younger than Will too. The price would have to be right for him though, I believe he's on big money up there.

He isn't available unless Hannay wants him out. He won't release him just to be nice - we didn't release Hiroti there and he was already signed for the next season.

AJ from next year onwards
29yo 850k
30yo 850k
31yo 850k
32yo 800k

In that case, big no thanks

Rather keep Will for another 12 months
