He’s a real top notch clubman but ability wise, we need better to help us get #2.
Seems like the nicest guy on the planet.
Nice guys finish last.
And before anyone asks, no I don't think he's Finnish.
Educated guessSo he might be but you’re not sure ?
Pretty much what we’ve all expected.
Or they really are going all in on Ison to be the man?Pretty much what we’ve all expected.
If the club has formalised that though I guess that means they are more confident they have a better option to pursue.
That’s a lot of eggs in an unproven basket.Or they really are going all in on Ison to be the man?
No real surprise here. I can see him heading to the London Broncos in 2027 if/when they are elevated to Super League.
Yeah agree, who knows if that’s it but, I am positive though that him doing his ACL really threw a curve ball as to what are we doing both short term & long term with our FBThat’s a lot of eggs in an unproven basket.
Right now on the basis of absolutely nothing other than a feeling I think we have something else in the works. But let’s wait for some preseason talk/hype and see how often Ison gets mentioned.Yeah agree, who knows if that’s it but, I am positive though that him doing his ACL really threw a curve ball as to what are we doing both short term & long term with our FB
For some reason I’m the same. Have a feeling we are chasing someone and for some reason i keep thinking it’s Ponga. Maybe cause of the talks he may want out to try win a premiership.Right now on the basis of absolutely nothing other than a feeling I think we have something else in the works. But let’s wait for some preseason talk/hype and see how often Ison gets mentioned.
Yeah I'm not sure you make this call a year out just for Ison coming off an ACL.Right now on the basis of absolutely nothing other than a feeling I think we have something else in the works. But let’s wait for some preseason talk/hype and see how often Ison gets mentioned.
Could be worse. He could have been our only premiership winning half back. Then we'd really treat him like ****.Poor Will. If he gets through 2026 without injuries he will be the second most-capped Sharks fullback.
Feels like we treat him pretty ordinary considering. I guess better to be upfront about the plans though.
Unless you had absolutely landed on a different direction than Will Kennedy, you would keep Will Kennedy on the line as an option.Yeah I'm not sure you make this call a year out just for Ison coming off an ACL.
Short of a Dally M FB of the year nothing Will. Will has his future in his own hands , put in a season that forces us to reconsider .
