A 1 year extension now is not that bad for him.

He still knows what he’s doing for 2 seasons
Agree. Almost works in his favour I think.

He’s got 2 years to prove he’s our long term fullback and not Dykes, possible forcing Dykes to 6. Or near the end of his contract if the writing is on the wall that Dykes is looking likely to take it, he then has the chance to talk to other teams and prove he’s their future first choice fullback.

Will be a lot harder to prove that if he spends all of 2025 in NSW cup.

Being on this forum for some time now, you both should know that Gumby is the all time King of transfer and new signing knowledge and all information from the clubs goes through him first.

No one has enquired of him about Kennedy so what he says totally makes perfect sense.
Exactly. Bout ****ing time someone recognised that.

He should talk to Chad.

Pretty good overall, one or two hiccups.
Looked a lot better. Still a bit iffy on defence. He kind of needed to recognise that Moylan needed another bodyguard but was getting across pretty late and inneffectually.

He was having to help stop the momentum of the Souths forwards at our try line a lot, because our own forwards seemed incapable or complacent at times.

It's funny how all the experts gave most of the kudos to Trindall on his soccer-like try (and deservedly so) but fail to mention the great work Will did in the lead up.

It was very good to start with, he started slow until he picked a gap then attacked it. Gave himself a competitive chance to get the ball.
Seemed like he wasn't 100% what to do next (which would have been impacted by trying to judge bounce of ball while sprinting with Latrell coming at you). Executed just well enough though to give a teammate a chance with Latrell out of the equation.

He did good, and put his body on the line a bit for it too.
Confidence looks to have come back

Yeah I thought they both showed great composure, a try like that is pretty easy to **** up by panicking.
