Gal and Lewis should be told that they can play on if they want, but only with a nominal contract amount.

If they wanna play on for 200-300k each and essentially be taking a depth position in the cap, go for it. It's still more than they'll get outside of footy and that way we don't need to recruit too much with them in mind. We can for example still target a marquee prop or second rower and have good depth all round. If Gal or Lewis are not in the form to make our top 17 while fully fit then that's on them.

Plus as a long serving player, don't we get dispensations under the Salary Cap?

Yeah, From memory Gal and Leutele are the only played eligable for long serving player payments, so if Gal does retire we nearly have to keep Leutele.....

besides Curtis scott, ferguson he would be our best option.

I'd at Isaako to that list.

But outside those guys I'd be happy to keep Ricky on a short contract and wait to see if we can land or develop a better player.

That’s an old list, and Isaako hasn’t played centre since leaving Cronulla. He is a gun fullback and ok five-eighth but obviously wing is the only way in to the Broncos lineup for him at the moment.

IMO we will either re-sign Leutele or give Xerri a crack at a first grade spot.

Javed Bowen has been pretty ordinary this year.
