Would love Reed here but Kahu no way. Bloke can't even last 2 games in a row without breaking down. If he gets injured 1 more time i think the bloke will retire.

so you'd pass on one of the form fullbacks of the comp... Right
For huge money yes.

There are positions that a big money signing would be more useful for in our side.

If he came on a good deal I would be stoked but I wouldn't pay overs for him (which we would have to do to get him IMO).

I would rather put that money towards signing one of Hunt, Reynolds, Hodkinson or even Cherry Evans.

We have no talent at halfback but have a young junior who has showed plenty of promise at fullback plus a bloke that was right up there in terms of fullbacks a few seasons back but is out of form.

He is certainly a talent that you have to approach and if you can get him for the right money you sign him.

I just see us paying someone like him the sort of money that would cost us an opportunity to get the halfback we desperately need.

Being realistic, copley and hoffman should be high on our lists for the centres next season. Other than them the only other move that i'd make in that position would be a gamble on kyle stanley, still has plenty of talent but injury prone, he also lives around here.

If we can't get these three, we need to just move feki to centre. He's had his apprenticeship on the wing and is now ready to move to his favoured spot, all but on the wrong side.

1- holmes
2- gordon
3- leutele
4- feki
5- gagan

Without signings.

I may be wrong but didn't Ricky play at left centre earlier in his career - could he be moved?

Feki and the Snick are both left centres. If pushed, I'd play Leutele on the right. Played there in 2011.

LOL at me - I meant right - he went well there to start seems to be able to move off both feet. I think we do that as there is no superstar centres - I think Feki at centre would easily be as good as Taka or even what Moga has shown so far (granted he is still hitting fitness)

Feki at centre would be far better than Taka, I don't think Taka is much chop at all tbh.

I don't think you'd get Stewart for less than 3 years.

If we're serious about Holmes, we shouldn't go there, IMO.

Agree. I love Snake as a player but I think the money can be used more effectively elsewhere. Gee he would be good for us though.

Of course you pass on Snake. The question isn't whether he is a good player but whether adding him to the team for the price we would need to is the right call and I don't think it is. Not that it matters anyway because he wouldn't even entertain coming here.

Pom had better hands that Gordon did last week.

Need to try nab a 6/7 from somewhere robson and brown are terrible. No kicking game. Still not convinced about brown as a half still think hooker is his best position
