Who has made the worst impact? Who has made the best?

Could flano have been baited to correspond whilst on suspension?

Worst Tony Zappa. Best Shane Richardson.

Barry Russell could still take either though

Apparent fishing aside... I'd be interested to see the email content. They say it's like 50 emails or something, right? I wonder who instigated them and whether they related to 2014 or 2015.

This probably not the case but theoretically the emails could be club sending him updates they feel like is not "him contacting the club" but also lumping in stuff like his contract talks so he needs to reply to them.
This would also be stupid but is a bit different from him emailing through coaching suggestions for the next game.

So far in Barry’s tenure he has lost all sponsorship, sold the club and the coach down the river and signed 1 player, not a great strike rate in my opinion.

Let’s give it time mate. He’s done all this now but perhaps we will benefit from it later?

What some people are forgetting I think is that before Barry self reported he went to the board first for their approval to front the NRL.

They said go ahead.

So they obviously didn’t think about the repercussions either.

But here’s another thought and perhaps someone in the know can confirm this.

Usually, despite what Craig Bellamy says, the coach must have some idea of what the players are being paid including TPAs.

So if Barry had gone to Flanno and said, “hey mate I’ve found this little discrepancy can you explain it?”, Flanno would have grabbed him by the collar, pulled him aside and told him to very quickly forget about it.

So Barry obviously didn’t do that. Was it an oversight or was it deliberate?

$64000 question mate. With all the incompetence from the leaders at our club one can’t help but think it was an oversight.
Or Flanno ran the gauntlet and took a risk, or Barry knifed him deliberately. **** knows
