Agreed. Maybe even 3rd, but more likely 4th. Brisbane and Cowboys still ahead of us, hence my realistic view on this year earlier.

I rate Easts ahead of us because of their pack and as you said, they have more match winners.

I also rate NZ ahead of us. If they don't cop injuries to RTS, Johnson and Luke they'll be hard to beat. The only thing that may hold them back is having a suspect coach.

MV is good but fragile, mautilino isnt as good anymore

Below pass of course is failure, and there actually isn't anything below a fail, so it's pretty bad. I think we need to make the 8, no excuses, including injury and scandal.

i dont rate the warriors coaching staff. i think they'll struggle to make the 8 once again. the players seem to run that club. its meant to be the other way round.

I dont consider not winning apremiership a fail. Thats not to say its not disappointing or that we should have high hopes. I dont consider that accepting mediocrity. I consider that accepting there is 15 other teams setting the same goals and someone has to lose each game. Im more concerned about how we lose. A loss in the finals like this year will be terrible. If we put up a fight n fall short its still gunna hurt but its not embarrassing

I agree. They willbe top 4, but i think they will be like melbourne were this year, in the running and never go away but hardly a threat. They just had a good year all-round. Did well with injuries and those who filled in did real well.

without thurston the cowboys are nowhere near a top 3 side imo. if he goes down with an injury then so does the cowboys season

how many more years do you accept finishing 5-8 though. He is second behind bellamy as the longest serving coach at their current club. We can't just keep accepting finals appearances as pass marks

Doesnt it start over when u get suspended for 12 months?

Got to the finals in his first year haha
