Do you drop Boland when Hazlewood is back?

Would be bloody hard to the way he’s going

Wow what happened there, that was a stunning collapse, I was getting concerned with their opening partnership too tbh.

Was looking forward to watching some late arvo/night cricket after work today and tomoz - bloody hopeless Poms couldn't even get us to day 4 but that pitch was tricky and the aussies batting collapse didn't help extend things either

I reckon Pat Cummins wickets haul of 21 was higher than alot of these Pommies batting averages for the tour LOL

Boland should be kept in the team over Hazlewood as of this moment . Boland is on fire and goes for hardly any runs at all - his economy is the best of any bowler

Both are similar ages 31/32 and have at the very least a good few years of cricket left in them providing they stay fit. Hazlewood is quality and will always be in and around the team but right now we should back Boland unless there is a specific pitch in pakistan that suits Hazlewood more

Keep Carey on as wicket keeper as well

Smith has been a bit disappointing by his high standards but other players have stepped up around him like Head & Green

This test series flew by! didn't seem that long ago Starc was bowling Burns first ball

Good to see an Aussie series not dominated by road pitches and huge totals. The pitches have been prepared much better for the bowlers.

England very poor though but I don't think we were much better with the bat. Apart from Head and Uzzie, our batsmen weren't crash hot. Smith had a poor series by his standards, as did Marnus and Warner was woeful. Green finished well and will be better for the run. Marcus Harris probably won't play again.

Our bowlers were brilliant, all chipped in with no stand out wicket taker. Cummins finished on top primarily due to England's batsmen in a hurry to get to the pub after the game. But he, Starc, Green, Boland and even Hazlewood in his only Test were excellent.

Carey started with a bang but did show signs of old Iron Gloves. His batting was OK but not at the level we've been used to in past keepers.

For England, Mark Wood was easily their best player - plenty of heart and I'd love to have him on our side. Real pace and not too bad with the bat. Top England wicket taker with 17. Root was their top scorer but still couldn't get a ton in Australia.

Agree Chad, refreshing to see pitches that offered alot more for the bowlers than usual and it made for a more entertaining and less predicable game. It also made batsmens runs more valuable.

Big scores, century's ect deserve even more respect than usual considering the challenges the batsmen faced. They had to focus, concentrate and be patient and sometimes get some luck - unless you are Travis Head and just go out there and wack them around

England should have done better bowling on seeming green pitches closer to what they have at home than a traditional aussie flat hard summer pitch

Wood, Anderson and Broad were good for England but the later 2 bowlers wernt selected in the first test for some reason

Crawley showed some hope for Englands future in the top order

If you could make a team from both Eng and Aus it would be hard to find a spot for any of the Englishman. Maybe Root....

I hate Warner with a passion but he was good early on in the series when it counted.

Smith has been poor for a while now, averaging 37 since 2019.

Looked to me like the Poms didn't want to be here. That capitulation last night was embarrassing to watch.
