Just watching the England v India Test.

If you get a chance take a look at English spinner Dom Bess and tell me who he’s modelled his bowling style on?

The Indians have certainly come back down to earth with a thud.

That was pretty poor standard by the Aussies last night, hopefully the Kiwis might think we'll be just as easy next match & we give them a shock.

The Sheffield Shield & Marsh Cup is something I enjoy watching & I'll stream the Bulls games my team when I'm able to. Good to see us get 2 wins from 2 against the Tassy Tigers. Saw parts of the NSW game aswell, they were pretty shocking against Victoria.

If a part time off spinner like Joe Root can take 5-8 in a Test match, I’m going to hop on a plane now to India, sub in for Anderson or Broad and roll my arm over with my offies. I’ll bowl out the entire side.

This pitch in India is a joke.

The spinner Axar has just taken 2 wickets in 3 balls opening the bowling.

And the second ball was a hatrick ball (from previous innings) that was given out but changed on review.

Took the number four batsman Joe Root to score the first runs for England.

Chad your right this pitch in India is ridiculous, so different to what we have here. England 2nd innings they are 5-60 and this is only day 2 already Englands 2nd innings.

Yep not my cup of tea.

I think the Indians were spooked by the result of the first Test and have gone too far the other way with pitches.

Trying to ensure they make the Test Championship final I guess.

Indias pitches are the perfect pitches for spinners, Root isn't a proper bowler & who would have expected him to get 5 wickets & all of Indias spinners get all Englands 2nd innings wickets for less then 100 runs.

Do we think we should have an independent body preparing pitches around the world instead of the host country or is it up to the visiting side to be that much better and more adaptable?

You don't really have this sort of thing in other sports where the playing field is so heavily manipulated to suit the hosts. Not saying I want flat generic pitches replicated all over the place nor for certain countries conditions and character to be eradicated but some sort of balance between bat and ball and fairness to the opposition who have far less time and knowledge on how to prepare
