Problem for Wade is still that Cordner will probably be made captain and he plays 80 minutes on Wade's edge. Cordner can play through the middle but isn't really the best option for that role given how good Frizell's going. Jackson is pretty established on the right IMO.

Fergo actually had a decent game, not gunna argue about what rating he deserved though
Agree, his best game so far and his break made the difference. It looked like he was putting a real emphasis on ball security with his returns.
Will be under pressure from Dugan/Trobjevic/Roberts for his spot next year though.
Fergo is a defensive liability on our own line. He is forced into bad situations by other nearby defenders who force the overlap but when there's that overlap Fergo almost always steps in on the centre leaving the winger unmarked to stroll over and it has happened numerous times during origin including last night. The boys inside him need to sort their **** out, and he needs to stop pinching up, wait them out and take care of things if they end up making the pass. If he steps up, they make the pass and they score almost every time.

Wade can be a bit of a ball stopper but his strong runs make up for it, especially tonight.

Yeh, I think the same thing in some games, has a tendency to have the blinkers on when there is opportunity to pass the ball outside of him.

I was sat on the end last night. The Titans were sliding hard on that edge. Very little opportunity for Wade to have passed. That's why we saw a lot of inside balls and a lot of Wade dying with it. Better to take th tackle than push the pass.
and.... Who gives a stuff if he lied during the toss. It's not like we went 100m and won the game from the kickoff. Both teams had their chances.
