I'm in recruitment and I do a lot of indigenous recruitment. For those who really want the free ride there are avenues for them to do it. Free TAFE courses, clothing, PPE, tools, etc. I do believe there is a great deal of incentive for indigenous people to get jobs but unfortunately the majority (not all) just don't want to work or have no idea how to get work. I've just been out to Dubbo to interview for a bank traineeship and out of 8 candidates I interviewed only two were anywhere near suitable.

There are avenues to bludge your way through life no matter what colour you are though. Most long-term unemployed get access to all of the things you are mentioning, as they have a low income and the government wants them off the dole.

My 21 year old daughter has been doing an enrolled nursing course for the last year and was sacked by Coles (after 6 years of working there) as she has to do 2 week blocks in Port Macquarie each term and for work placement. She needs to pay for accomodation while up there but not an extra cent (besides youth allowance) has been given to her to help with accomodation, travel, books (and TAFE Fees)..nothing!!! This is in spite of several trips to Centrelink/calls to see if she could get something. The only thing Centrelink offered her was a lecture on how her parents shouldn't have had kids if they didn't want to pay for all these things.
She is eligible for $174 per fortnight for Youth Allowance (student). Not really living the high life at the moment...

Anyway...back to Wade Graham...again.Haha

Geez SBBB, that's a bit rough on you and your daughter. Yes you're right, anyone who doesn't want to work, whatever their situation, can get through the loopholes and get paid for doing nothing. I absolutely hate those that bum around for a living, but sometimes it is a trait of their upbringing. Parents and sometimes Grandparents have been on welfare so they know no other way. It is bloody frustrating and sad at the same time.

It annoys the hell out of me too Chad, especially given the lack of help my daughter is getting, simply because we work. And the bit about the parents/grandparents is so true. I think it's also where you live. I really think poor/disadvantaged people shouldn't be dumped together in one area, as it just brings about doom and gloom and no hope for the kids growing up.It's normal not to work or to even try, and as I said about my husband when he was young, they don't think it's possible to do any better.Bloody terrible actually.

Anyway, I better shut up now...sorry everyone.Haha

Cramping you think? He's been doing this for some time now and he also needs to offload more
often rather than simply take on the line. His kicking did provide some variation which is promising.

Too much sideways running, his defence has improved though. IMO his best season was in 2012 which is worrying, as I don't think he has progressed at all. to be fair to him he has the worst tactical/skills coach in the game coaching him
