Keep an eye on him tonight playing alongside an average half in Travis Burns - hope he handles it well.

As was quite obvious Graham is a 5/8th (or lock), would be decent with a dominant half, but is no 7 himself.

He deadset reminds me of a kicking lock he can not guide a team around (Still think he is better than what we have), but we need a 7 badly for next season.

Yeah, he's a great young player but if he's you're dominant half you're ****ed. Not to say he won't be able to develop into a more dominant half though he's only 19 and a really good pick up for us I think. He'd have gone great alongside Trent I reckon.

I made a point of watching the Panthers and Graham last night, If we are wanting this kid to guide us around the paddock in 2011 we are ****ed! I have no doubt that he will develop into a solid 1st grade player but after what I seen last night it maybe a couple of years away.
Watching the Sharks last night, it is also very obvious we are going to have to sign a top No7 there are only 2 of these on the market being Noddy and Ox, IMO we need to sign Ox before we make any other signing this is a must, going into next season with anything less is suicide!
Poms is playing well enough since his surgery and will hold his own if fit next year so maybe centre isn't so weak as we all thought. If we are to sign Smith and Tighe great but it will mean little if we go into next year with a heap of raw halve's and 5/8's.

Have to agree with the sentiments raised in the last few posts. I've watched Graham sporadically during the season and he reminds me more of a young Greg Bird than anything else. And I agree with kiwi, a play at Ox needs to be made. He'd be an ideal person to have nurse Graham into something solid.

The one thing I really like about him is that he is rock solid in defense, and he is young.

I wouldnt even care if we did get a young GUN half to partner him, as long as its a fulltime "halfback" , which is absolutely use to taking all the attacking kicks and running the plays.

As long as we get someone, as at the moment we are building to nothing with Porter & Smith

Agree, get him and he can mentor graham as well as Smith if he's still hanging round.

Watched Graham last night, played well, and put up a very good high ball to the wing, (which led to a try) placed right onto the try line, probably just as good as then couple Barret dropped right in front of sticks (1 which led to a disallowed sharks try)

Yes that kick was good. But they had bad 5th play options (and a general lack of direction) all night, he will be a good 6 (or 13), but needs direction.
