That’s Mulitalo’s first try where Wade ran a great decoy line, but went close to knocking over the Warriors player. I imagine that was on his mind (“did I obstruct it”)
Was that the try where he was in the wrong position completely

Is that what we want to see from our captain? Him sulking because we started poorly and have just levelled score with a kick to come?
My assumption was that he was more 'settle Gretals' because the way we were playing the game it was far from won

May well be, to me that looks like give Ronnie a hug or a high five then have a chat to the boys afterwards about playing better but need to keep on their game.

My first thought was he was worried about his role in leadup but he swerved through pretty cleanly, looked like maybe they even tried to play into him for obstruction once he got through. Watching it back hard to tell, I'm thinking he thought it was going to be a no try for some reason or another, or maybe didn't like Ronnie's putdown near the line.

Just shared it as I thought it was a bit of an unusual reaction, more than happy for anyone who is fine with it to continue not caring about it.

We won and he seemed happy in presser so I guess at the end of the day I don't care too much either.

edit: I will add this, way to dodge through the line to avoid risk of obstruction. If every player made that much effort to get out of the way you'd see at least half a dozen extra tries every week if not more.

My first thought was that he may be shitting himself he'd blown it, dreadful poker face if that was the case.
Wade's shown with captains challenge he's a poor gambler who'll go all-in holding nothing but hope.

It’s not AFL you get nothing for being close but that one was close, was off their players hand just still in Blaykes for a moment too much

Y'know... Wade's actually doing really well. His last game was pretty good.

When you think about how long he's been sidelined, he's actually back to a pretty impressive standard very quickly.

I don't know what his future holds, but it'll be interesting to see how close to his old form he can get.

6 runs from 51 mins isn't much from Wade but Tieg only made a few more in similar minutes
Nikora had 11 carries from 80 mins

We cutout our second row in attack and go straight to our centres and honestly I don't mind that. A second rower on Sifa Talkai's edge is going to get a little starved of ball

Our backrowers alot busier and more work to do in defense than our backline too

I think we are still kinda working out how best to use Nikora, Wade, Wilton in attack.

We are so much better in attack with Wilton there - Wade is no impact
