What does he add mate? Serious question.
I feel like out of all our forwards he is the most likely to be able to be in a set play, or to get a good offload to a support player. And of course his kick. He’s got a long way to go, but every game has been better than the last. If we want to beat teams better than the Warriors we need some skill/threat in the forwards, not just physicality

I feel as though you're basing that on the player he used to be, not what he is now. Maybe you're clinging to the hope he gets back to what he once was and that's fair enough, I just don't think that will happen.

We can only hope...I think he has until both Dale and BHU are back before Fitz has a tough call to make. I think when Dale is back Trindall will drop back.

I agree. I haven’t seen much in his limited games this year to suggest he’ll get close to his best again. Wilton offered so much more on that edge when he came on.

It’s a shame, cause he is a sharks legend IMO, but they don’t all get to go out on top.

Adding nothing. Really hope we delay extending him for as long as possible, not like other clubs will be banging down the door.
But..but..but..
Hes a club legend
He won us a premiership
He should be a shark for life and given keys to the kingdom..

Fair enough, and you may be right. I'm not saying re-sign him yet. I just see him improving each week... moving more (there for kick chases and support), less shy of contact (e.g. good hitup before Moylan try), tackling better (34 tackles/1 miss)... and overall I just see a higher possible upside to him for this year. We know how good his highest level can be, and that even with our strongest forward pack this season, we still needed more against the Top 4 teams. Worst case, he is giving Wilton a rest so he doesn't have to play a full season of starting games.

That’s Mulitalo’s first try where Wade ran a great decoy line, but went close to knocking over the Warriors player. I imagine that was on his mind (“did I obstruct it”)
My first thought was that he may be shitting himself he'd blown it, dreadful poker face if that was the case.

Or he’s just a senior player and realises we had a shocking first 15 minutes and it’s not the time for celebrating after levelling the scores.

Settle down sherlocks.
Is that what we want to see from our captain? Him sulking because we started poorly and have just levelled score with a kick to come?

Bort is impersonating an investigative journalist. 😆
Lucky I wasn’t impersonating an NRL journalist

Wade on the outer at Sharks?
Sources close to the player say he’s looking at other options and at least one other club could be interested.

Just thought it was an odd reaction to evening the scores with a kick to go ahead. Didn’t realise we were only allowed to question every other element of Wades contribution

There could be a dozen other reasons for his facial expression. Maybe he twinged something, maybe some bloke in the crowd yelled out something nasty - or maybe like me he was getting sick of those blokes banging on those f**cking drums.

That said - If he doesn’t get MotM next week he should definitely be fired into The Sun.
