I’m 95% sure this is my meme. Made it when the Facebook rebels sledging group was a thing.

congrats, your famous

so everyone is gunna steal your ****

Wouldn’t be suprised

I love Wade and everything he has done for this club but my definition of full strength no longer includes him, I kinda forget about him a bit sometimes

it's just been so long since he has been a significant contributor to this side or even been in the team for more than a week or so here and there

sad if he has to go out like Cordner though, another player that was retired before his time
Wade is only 31, should be in his prime :(

I don't want to be negative, like to think he can come back into the team and recapture some form and be the player we knew him to be. Fifita has surprised alot of people this season and he has had serious issues with his fitness and health.

I get that concussion and head knocks is its own thing though and extremely serious , not that Andrews throat issue wasn't

but even before all the HIA stuff Wade was always battling some injury every season that was holding him back

if it came down to retirement though, Wilton is a quality young replacement. Just what to do about the mug on the other side of the field

Yep, the moment he had the chance to make it on his own and create his own legacy without Gallen, Lewis etc he struggled whether it was injury or form.. there were games he was playing in and you would have no idea he was the captain.

A fit and fresh Graham would take us to the next level just don’t know if he is even up for all that effort, like Flanagan maybe Fitz can pull it out of him

I get the sentimental reasons from the club and coach but I stand by my view that he should relinquish the captaincy and this should not be viewed as a slight on Wade he just has enough on his plate trying to find form and stay fit without worrying about everything else

Having said that I don't think he is a brilliant captain either (nor was Gal) but Gal was there nearly every week and was able to give 100% even with some niggles

Dale is doing a solid job of it though with the C

Having said all that I think Wade would find it easier being the leader this time around with the experienced and professional players around him in the squad in 2022

The players respect him and listen to him he just needs alot of help on and off the field
