If deep down Wade wants to be a 5/8 we've lost him, if he wants to be a back rower I think he'll stay and get good money.

I've got a feeling Gus will be telling him he's the next Freddy Fittler

I'm happy with that.

A star Penrith junior who will play most of his football for another club. :ridiculed

get rid of taga and tupou. Frizzle is going also.

If we can't find room for wade in our 17, and make him a high priority. Somethings wrong.

Carney is also another that needs to get an extension before start of next season

Agree totally. With the amount of players we have coming off contract, we should be able to increase Wade's offer substantially and still have enough for a Jennings or similar. Carney needs to also be upgraded with incentives if he stays out of off-field incidents.

Id rather Gordon as well. But Graham is an amazing young Talent with Origin written all over him.

But if it happens then maybe we will see Peachey in first grade a lot sooner then expected

maybe he can go to Carney's tattooist and actually get origin written all over him

FFS. Now the months of pain as we wait for a decision. Carney and digits should also cop extensions.

Tbh i dont think money is the thing that is going to be the killing blow, i think its the chance to go back home. Money is a bonus. I think Wade has his head screwed on ok and will keep the faith in the sharkies and reward us for turning him into a future rep player from someone stuggling to crack a permanent firs grade spot. He knows Cronulla is going in the right direction...

Without being to harsh on people that live in the Penrith area.. Where would you rather live?
Also I saw a twitter message from Wade congratulating Michael on signing with the Sharks for next season.. I take that as a fairly good indicator as to where his heart and allegiance now lies..

haha come on mate, penrith isnt that bad... haha but i agree, definitely the shire is the more appealing place... but his family all live in the west dont they?

tbh its probably all just media hype to get comments and stories etc.
