Tbh i dont think money is the thing that is going to be the killing blow, i think its the chance to go back home. Money is a bonus. I think Wade has his head screwed on ok and will keep the faith in the sharkies and reward us for turning him into a future rep player from someone stuggling to crack a permanent firs grade spot. He knows Cronulla is going in the right direction...

Without being to harsh on people that live in the Penrith area.. Where would you rather live?
Also I saw a twitter message from Wade congratulating Michael on signing with the Sharks for next season.. I take that as a fairly good indicator as to where his heart and allegiance now lies..

It would be a money thing it isn't that far to drive not as if its bloody Brisbane maybe he has been told to prove himself if he wants to stay on a certain $$ value

Yeah it's only really a factor when for example Ben Ross lived in Cronulla and then was choosing between us and Penrith.

Like, he saved himself a big drive.

If Graham was still living in Penrith and driving to training every day then that would factor in for sure.

But if he's living in Cronulla moving to Penrith would involve moving house and club, a bit of an annoyance that plays in our favour.

if going back home isnt a factor then i dont see why he will go back to penrith, he has a chance to prove himself at cronulla and test himself against the NSW captain and NZ test player in the backrow and really compete and learn. silly move if he leaves.

as i said before i really dont think he will go, its probably media trying to sell a story and phill gould thinks he owns rugby league and when he wants something he gets it... eat a dick gould

Hope you're right Scott. Money talks louder to some people than others though. I don't know Wade so no idea if a bit of extra cash would persuade him over playing in a better team.

TBH if I was a player under gus I would be looking over my shoulder that's for sure if he doesn't get his own way look out!

He makes an announcement before the player even gets to tell his team mates for his own ego.
Jennings is sent to Leavenworth but is still good enough to play SOO.
Then he starts talking about poaching players but they aren't willing to pay market value.

Gus smells as a club admin and isn't a person I would like to work for and that's just on the above not taking into account his history.

Graham will stay, he is a must re sign and we need to do everything to keep him. He is the sort of guy who you can throw a 4-5 year contract at and know you will get your moneys worth unless injury strikes and will be our next captain!
