If we are serious about winning he signs on to be a bench player next year. Playing 30 odd at lock for Mcinnes to have a breather.

Hmm so citizenship is what's in the way. I wonder if he really wants to play on next year or is just doing it because he has to

That's ordinary
It is, i agree, and very controversial. But injury is the only thing which i can see stopping him from getting an undeserved 1 yr extension.
His form is down and has been since his last extension.
He openly admits hes gonna go to SL in 2024 to Catalan for that final payday, so would simply be using the Sharks as a stopgap till then because his misso doesnt have her citizenship.
If she were a citizen now he'd be off lile a shot, so i dont want us being stuck with him for 1 more year.

I don't have an issue with a one year extension as long as he is realistic about his price and role within the team. If he gets a good run without injury can still provide value.

We cant hold Tieg back in his development to accommodate Wade. Tieg has to start on the left edge.
If the rumours about Nikora re-signing are true then he plays on the right.
It was also rumoured we'd approached Matto - who has been ripping it up form the bench for Eels.
I dont see where Wade fits in and dont see him accepting a basement contract and playing for Jets .

To The Punisher’s point about concussion.………

I’m thinking if Wade wants a payday and to play in France (and lifestyle) then he probably should go sooner rather than later otherwise he may miss the boat altogether.

Maybe Wade needs to consider going earlier and leaving his partner here until citizenship is confirmed.
Hard call with leaving her and the kids behind I know and the time apart obviously depends on how much longer she needs but there is nothing stopping her from a few “European holidays” during that time.
The risk for him if he doesn’t go is that he might miss out altogether if he cops another head knock.

He does deserve a shot over there and a big payday/ superannuation payment and I’d be hoping he gets one (form a Super league team).

I don't have an issue with not wanting him at the club, I have an issue with you wishing another concussion on someone with a history of concussions.

Pay him.no more than 400k
Honestly, I wouldn’t be paying that, for his performances the past few seasons, 250k is more than fair, let’s be realistic, if his name wasn’t Wade Graham, he wouldn’t be in our 17 right now.
At best, he should be used in a minimal role per minutes per game if this is his level now, for every dollar we are going to overpay him that’s one dollar per less on retaining someone we wanna keep or someone we are targeting.

Sad day imho if we lose Fifita AND WG. Recent signs that Wadeo will come good again. 1 yr deal on Market terms: Win/Win. Gotta be mindful i guess however, Gal definitely went on one yr too long, and some cld argue 2.

Give him a million to stay if that's what it takes.
He is a leader and inspires the other players around him, and he has earned it as a Cronulla legend.

I actually thought he had 10 good minutes on the weekend so I might change him to my 3 votes in the 3-2-1

Just don't throw the cheque book at him (risk of concussion)

Would love to see the old Wado terrorising the half back this week.

Those games where he owned Cooper Cronk were some of my favourite fan moments.
