Looks to have something our sides have lacked in recent times and thats the willingness/ability to not stop working after he passes or kicks but to continue to run inside as a support option. So often when we break the line there is nobody around to keep it going apart from Gordon occasionally. Ennis, Barba and maybe this bloke putting our big guys through gaps but then being around for the follow up offload could be very good for us.

Thanks egg, anyone not impressed with both clips is hard to please, again I know its Q Cup but what I liked from the clips was he can hit/technique for his size, did a great 40/20, not one that just fell in to the 20 zone, it was actually a 35/10, has the feel at finding the right weight for his kicks in behind the line & when making a break summed up the situation well & hit his support player (winger on the chest) to score.

It looks like he has a top skill set. Long/short Kicking game, running game, good passing range. None of that will matter if he can't physically handle the nrl

Agree but based off the clips I'm happy we have given him the opportunity, lets see how he goes.

I'm gonna have a crack. I think I recall reading/hearing Murphy and Barba were roommates. Maybe it clinched Barba on that.

Yeh cap is bang on, murphy was a big reason Barba was a clean skin

Cronulla brought that culture down with him to keep him focused

I had no problem getting Murphy cause he was a mate of Barba's and he could of been helping him out get a gig. But if he was identified as a positive influence on Barba and also recruited on that, even better.

Lets hope these two light it up in the preseason together.

it was pitched to them by the club to be the halves pairing, obviously Robbo starts but Murphy has the talent to knock him out of the team

Mate I'm stoked with the level of concious thought gone into recruitment.

From what looked like a recruitment drive to equal our previous seasons form has turned into the best in the comp.

I feel like I'm going off half cocked but who has had a better recruitment for 2015?

No one. And we did this from last.

Dragons finished 4 spots above us? And have released internationals and replaced with with scraps and butchers
