this is the big one - getting rid of the people who were here for a paycheck

i loved the sj signing but after morris was sacked we saw the real sj

turning woods into finucane is the biggest upgrade in history, i almost feel like the police should be called to investigate how that happened
Tbh I hated the SJ signing - can’t stand inconsistent players, especially ones that play in the spine positions.. the only silver lining I had on it was that he would be coached by a demon in Flanagan, that never eventuated.

I’m with you on the rest of it

Highly paid inconsistent players is the thing that really grinds my gears. If you are paid near $1mil per season you damn well better be good pretty much every week and be one of the teams best but hardly any of those players are.

you can almost guarantee they will be some over hyped player that will do nothing every second week.

I don't think we have any players on anything above $850k and Fifitas contract was done a whiles back. I like that we are a balanced team not over relying on some silver bullet flop that takes up a massive bunch of our cap.

We have quality hard workers across the park who happened to be very talented as well and can now work together but don't cost stupid coin

I

SJ has, and always will be, about SJ.

I doubt Flanno would have changed much with him.

Problem is the nrl seems to dislike it, case in point the big uproar over a comment past year
Fair enough, too. The NRL should definitely try and please the people that have never watched a game in their life and have no intention to.

Can't have someone's feelings getting hurt over a few words said on tv

Their kids might start acting like that, I mean it's not up to parents to partent their children, it's everyone on tv's job

really liked his carries tonight especially in that first stint charging over the advantage line and getting some PCM and quick PTB's (quickest in our team actually)

looked strong and fired up

his defense and discipline has improved noticeably too

40 mins on field works great for him
