Official Toby Rudolf

Def get where our mans cmg from but i think Rudolph has lifted his game, been more consistent this year. Sure some of the carries out of out back end i still hold the breath, but so far so gd this year

I mean there have been times there where he was being used sort of as a ( main) front rower, and would at times get pinballed coming out of our own end, and drop the ball. I have empathy for him cause in some respects he's imho not a traditional front rower size, although tries his guts out.He not a shirker ( and at times i think coach leaves him on 5 mins to long) but i think that past history, is whats being referred to.

Even for those who believe this is the case they should look at it in the context of "compared to what?".

I don't think there have been too many examples of Toby staying out "too long" when the team had two of AFB, Cam, Dale to have out there instead. We are mostly talking about games where they were missing players and the coach had the choice of Toby for 5% longer than normal or playing a low minute guy for 50% longer than normal.

As you said - more of a past history thing anyway. His stints since AFB arrived have been kept fairly short except late last year with McInnes gone plus several other injuries in the forwards.
