Official Toby Rudolf

Not sure how anyone can see him drop like a sack potatoes and claim the forcefulness of the headclash (if it was that and not the shoulder) doesn't warrant two weeks*.
If it was the headclash that did him in that still stems from going in with a shoulder charge.
And we are the one club you can't try and make that case against, having lost Dale for 2 weeks for an otherwise legal tackle with a headclash - and that guy wasn't even knocked out! (just a stylish new ear design)

*it's a two week penalty, it's his fault he gets +1 for priors, which I believe was also a shoulder charge, and he/clubs fault the other +1
Didn't Dale cop a suspension for being too aggressive? The head clash here seems to be the same thing

Dale was suspended for grade 2 Dangerous Contact, and Wighton for grade 2 Shoulder Charge
The head clash here is not the same thing, although the base penalty was the same.

Dale was suspended because the force of the tackle was high and his lack of control at the point of contact was significant.
Wighton botched a shoulder charge.

But I wrapped my one arm Sir….. I mean miss

But I wrapped my one arm Sir….. I mean miss
Used to be relevant but maybe they have tweaked the rules
I think that arm got swung forward by the force of collision more than any active wrapping anyway haha

They tried to get charge downgraded as it turns out, not contesting it was a shoulder charge.

If they'd been successful it'd have helped them avoid the spoon better, but also made him available for Indigenous round, which already won't see them run out Trell & Cody

I think the force.of the tackle and reckless nature probably made the grade and penalty far worse. If he hadnt been charged with the shoulder charge it would have been the other I reckon.

No head element it's probably a penalty at worst

Would rather let Toby go and keep BHU
I also wouldn't have re-signed Hazeleton but thats another matter entirely

Agree, BHU is way off his best but I’m memorised by his best, if he can get near that we have almost as good as any in the NRL of a 1-2 punch.

Kudo’s to Tobi with the Dolphins game, unreal, unfortunately, we see more of yesterday’s Tobi more the Dolphins game Tobi.

How many times do we see a stupid offload by him or, ‘I’ll wait to tackle 5 before giving a a brain dead 6 again.

Tommy, gotta be careful with this one because he’s so popular & has cult like status within many in Sharks fans, but I too would have let him go.
A heap of my mates, who follow different clubs are always saying he’s way overrated by Sharks fans because he looks different, white, tall & bald, he has nothing else.
One of them even said Tom’s hit ups reminds him of a budgie, a budgie flying around the room, fly’s straight into a glass door & drops dead.

I stand by my statement from yesterday: Rudolph is finished in my mind. He’s consistently making too many errors, racking up penalties, and lacks the fitness required. It’s time to let him go and pursue other interests. It's clear his passion lies in radio and podcasting, not in rugby league anymore.

This is extremely true.

The bloke doesnt really bend the line, half the time as soon as a hand is laid on him he just collapses.

Another overrated and overhyped player.
