I think you're all dreaming if you think Wade Graham is not going to be in our top 17 when all are fit.

Yes, I agree he's not what he once was, but I just can't see Fitz dropping him. Ever.

I think when everyone is fit we'll see this pack and bench:

Rudolf
Brailey
BHU
Wilton
Nikora
Finucane

McInnes
Kafusi
Graham
Hunt

Williams and Hazleton miss out unfortunately and I certainly like both of these players.
I think that’s it too.

Personally I would probably take Hazelnut over Graham atm in that bench but I know that’s not happening

Maybe Williams instead of Graham. I can't see that happening, though.
Couldn't really see Fitz taking Williams over Graham, but Tommy maybe. They have a frank convo he is considering Tommy and Graham knows he has been killing it and doesn't want to block young fella out, they say Graham hurt his ankle at training...

Me too unfortunately

He is lock #3 and in a full healthy squad we only need Cam and Dale.

Could be him, looked like he was outside top 17 to start season (although so was big Tommy). Williams one of our best forwards just a few season ago which was quickly forgotten by handling issues before and after. But he could def secure his spot if he can tidy up.

Currently error+penalty per minutes
  1. Tracey 0.0375
  2. Hynes 0.0316
  3. Williams 0.0228
  4. Hunt 0.0224
  5. McInnes 0.0222
  6. BHU 0.0203
  7. Wilton 0.0181
  8. Finucane 0.0177
  9. Katoa 0.0170
  10. Ramien 0.170
  11. Hazelton 0.0167
  12. Trindall 0.0156
Without numbers but to round out top 20: Ronnie, Moylan, Brailey, Graham, Kennedy, Rudolf, Nikora, Talakai

Not accounting for touches or circumstances but comparable positions are probably semi-comparable.
Does support criticism of Williams, Hunt and McInnes - maybe we are a touch harsh on Wilton but still I think we all agree we'd love it to improve slightly from him
95% of wilton's knock ons are when the ball is thrown to him 0.005second before hitting the line. If he catches 50% of them he's an immortal imo. They are almost impossible.

Nikora gets the same service. Don't see him dropping them every single game.

Cmon mate yr better than that.I think Wiltons a little overrated on here, but hes had some shocking low % passes blasted at him of late, that Nikora hasnt had
I agree he’s overated on here also. All I’m saying is Nikora has had some shockers thrown towards him this year as well. But he somehow a manages to hold on to most of them.

Exactly, gets thrown some shocking balls.

How was Nikora going 1.5 years ago?

Nikora gets crash balls from Hynes and Brailey

The difference with Teig (beyond just not being as good as Nikora) is that he is also getting balls from Wade Graham..... a bloke whose kicking and passing license should be provisional at best

Mind you Hynes has thrown some bad passes as well

Needs to stay in the 17 when Rudolf is back on board

Dale or Wade can make way - I dont care who (actually Dale can make way when Cam back)

Tommy offers more than both those players other than minutes which in time we can increase. His defense isn't even half bad

Every week Tommy seems to make a line break of a barn storming charge up the guts and also seems to get close to going over the try line too

Outside of making tackles (and apparently leadership) Wade and Dale aren't doing a whole lot for the team with the ball

We can keep Wade in the 17 if we forgo that bench utility spot though because I hate that bench utility spot - it's fning useless for us

Did you see the team list today, Gards? Hazelton has already been dropped for McInnes...

Feel for him. I agree with you - the rest of the middles should be looking over their shoulders.

Agree with everything except that he needs to stay in the 17.
He's still young and could use a few spells from first grade for now. I think it'll be good for his longevity and don't think it'll hamper his development - he's very likely going to be the same style of player in 10 years time

How anyone can blame Tieg for some of those drops is beyond me. You're right, some terrible passes.
It sure is a high risk, high rewards style play. Teig running a suicide line with Moylan deeper into the line than The Cheese on a night out with Cam Munster.

But as people has rightly called out, when it doesn't work we don't have much of a plan B. It feels like it's working less these days, especially against the better sides.

nikora doesnt get the same service at all

nikora gets crisp service from hynes, wilton is getting hospital ball after hospital ball by moylan
talking the crash balls from Brailey. Both Nikora and Wilton receive. Nikora catches most of them, Wilton drops all of them.
