Quick drop outs are allowed when everyone's onside. Teams just don't do it so they can set up to contest for the ball or have a 30 second break to get their breath back if it doesn't go well
Yeah they use the full clock for a rest and to set up but I think also can’t go until ref/bunker clears them to start also right?
So there’s a built in slight delay that lets opposition get partially set up

By the rulebook you can kick it once your own players are onside, but in the NRL the refs are probably still watching 4 minutes of video to see whose fingernail might have grazed it.

Quick dropouts happen all the time in comps that don't have a bunker.
 
I think he's made for origin, different game, more suited to the hard running big boys over the quick and nimble lads.
 
think he has about 15 other props infront of him on the selection table when it actually comes to making the blues team
Doesn't matter if he never gets selected. Its good experience to be around the Blues squad and doing opposed sessions etc.

I agree, im just saying I wouldn’t read to much with him being invited into camp.
