It's crazy because man for man we have a lot of big game experience
That's true and while that has it's positives and always gets talked up by the likes of Gould it also seems like yet another Sharky's myth. Our experience doesn't seem to quite deliver on what we would expect or hope for carrying so many vets across the park
I still feel we lack a true leader that keeps the team in sync and level headed and our older players have as many brain farts as our younger ones.
When we win, our superior experience get's wrapped but when we lose does that accountability go back the same way?
Just think of all the "international reps" and premiership winners we have had in our teams in past years and it hasn't counted for a whole lot. Maloney is bit of an exception as the guy can play just phenomenal at times (think Origin) and brought a real winning attitude to the Sharks. But even he is feeling the pinch right now and it's showing
Barba & Jimmy have made the biggest difference to our team this year and a massive reason we won so many games. Their experience would have counted for little without their exceptional talents and abilities
