Edited to make sure nothing inflammatory is released to the public.
I don't know mate it makes perfect sense to me. Not sure why that's hard to understand.
You don't release information to the public that can hurt he club. We have enough **** on our shoes as it is.
We need to be doing better and cleaner than any other club. That was the whole point of my post.
We aren't professional enough and it shows.

It's an independent podcast though, it's not an official podcast by the club.

I get the point he is making, but i dont know why he is making it. Flanno made the comment.....shouldnt have. Its not those blokes job to save his bacon. This should be between gallen and flanno now.

I don't think you do actually. My point is this. We aren't professional. Period. It's thclubs fault. Not the podcasters.
I'm not saying that the guys who made the podcast are to blame, far from it. I blame the club for not being professional
enough. They should have ground rules for these things. If you want access to club employees to make public broadcasts of
Information that could potentially damage the club then you must make sure that whatever you release will NOT hurt the club
In any way at all. End of story. It's not about saving Flannos bacon, the whole club is being hurt by this!

Thats true. But the club arent exactly endorsing it either. They just allow it. No different to a press conference or radio appearence. What was said cant be unsaid. flanno screwed up, noone else. Then gallen screwed up moreby insulting members/fans calling them drop kicks.

Could they interview Flanno from their Garage? Ask yourself this question.
Would you have released it in its entirety, knowing that in all likelihood it would cause ****?
If you hate Flanno I understand, I don't like him either. But I love this club. I would never do anything to hurt it.

Hope so. I'd rather keep Gallen and lose Flanno tbh.
But if this ended up being the impetus that made us lose Gal, and we keep Flanno, the media will crucify us.

You'd hope a head coach could speak for 15 minutes without saying something regretful.

If something as simple as him speaking needs oversight and a screening process you got problems.

But who knows, maybe he was "unknowingly and unwittingly duped" into making those comments by a couple of genius interviewers.
